Dreamin', I'm falling.
Can we pretend that airplanes in the night sky are like shooting stars?
I could really use some wish right now.

Theme Park!!

![]() WARNING! This may not be suitable for the faint hearts. === You don't know me, so shut up boy. After about 5 years of my life without any adrenaline pumping thrills, I've finally got a chance to feel the coming back of massive adrenaline pump again with my classmates and teacher. We went to Staines, Thrope Park and IT WAS AWESOME MAX. We arrived at about 10.30am and queued for our first ride. SAW, The Ride. Just by looking at the skeleton tracks of the roller coaster ride, it gave a shiver down my spine! Here are some pictures of the ride. ![]() ![]() ![]() This was the best ride ever! It started with dark space with lots of props of human torture devices and the masks of "SAW" doll. There was about 200 adrenaline junkies queuing at the same time for about 2 hours in the hot sun to get on a 5 minutes ride, but it was so worth the wait! I was so bored during the queuing that I decided that we should play the hand slapping game. But my anti-masochistic/sadist/enthusiastic friends didn't want to, so I was left to rot for 2 hours. It was a total of 3 drops inside the dark building and the last drop was the 90 degrees drop! I was attempting to put my hands up but it automatically came back to grab the safety seat thing cause it was just toooo scary!! My head kept bobbing back and forth! Our next ride was The Detonator. Yeesss, another extreme thrill. ![]() This queue wasn't so bad, it was about 30 minutes. When it went up, my heart was so calm, because the view was astonishing, it distracted me from the height. Then when it suddenly drop, my heart was as if left above!! And I didn't have a chance to scream, it came out as a huff when I got down and my hair was all so messy with the fringe covering my face! We then decided to take a short breaks from the ride and had lunch. I finally felt the after effects of adrenaline throbbing in my brains, it was like everything is still in midair! After lunch, we went straight to the third ride. The Colossus. This is the second best ride! We queued about 1 hour to ride it. Halfway during the queue, my friend decided that he didn't want anymore rides so he left ): So the two of us continued alone. ![]() ![]() ![]() On this ride again, attempt to put my hands up in the air to feel more thrill, but again it came back automatically to grab hold of my dear life hahah. Then I wanted to ride on the Samurai, but the queue time was 50 minutes. So we decided to look around for rides that takes a shorter waiting time. We went around and saw Slammer, and it was only 20 minutes waiting time. Delighted as ever, we queued. But looking at the ride, I already felt a little nauseous cause I don't like rides that sways. Anyway, I still want to ride it, like it or not! Hahaha. ![]() It wasn't that thrilling. The swing was quite slow. The last ride of all, Stealth. The fastest roller coaster ride in Thrope Park. It accelerates to 80mph within 3 seconds or so. Oh boy, speed is the new thrill. We queued about 30minutes. I was observing how fast the roller coaster goes and I was really nervous on this. I kept saying, "I'm gonna die!" then there was a branch of queues, one long and one short. By logic, of course I take the short queue! Uh yes, short queue, little did I know that was the front seat queue. We couldn't change, so we waited and finally when it was our turn, I heftily walked up, get seated and belt up. Then I saw the red lights went on - green then GO!! I lift my hands in the air and was taken aback by the speed. Zoom zoom zooom - 17seconds. My hands was still up, then the ride ended. Hahaha, front seat experience. Best. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Stealth, I think this was the highest and fastest roller coaster among all the rides in Thorpe Park. THUMBS UP!! It was only 5 rides, I wanted to ride more!! But the park was closing soon. When we finally decided to stop and try the games, tried the ball throwing, the wire tracing, and fishing, all the lame arcade games that is so hard to win. Cause I really wanted to win the big bananas and bears!! It's like a trophy! Walking home proud with the big fat plush toy. But it was just so hard to win! All are scammers hahhaa. We took lots of photos and jump shots with my teacher's camera. She has not sent me yet, so I'll wait for her and post on facebook! The pictures are all taken from the Thorpe Park official website. Hehehe. |
